The Past Week

I have been anxiously wrestling in indecision for the past 3 months. This past week finally brought some light, allowing me to see through the murky water.

Flight to NYC: I was able to finally read The Alchemist:  I could tell you what it meant to me, but you would only be disappointed when you read it.  I think it is a parable that brings out the truth that you are seeking in life.  Only you know what that truth is.  Bottom line-Dream

In NYC: I was refreshed by the spirit of travel, adventure, and the international community.  I never imagined I would be so romanced by a US city.  Everywhere I went I overheard foreign languages being spoken.  Engaging a few strangers I was able to hear stories from Ghana, Israel, Taiwan, Switzerland, & Nigeria.  My final cab ride to Newark found me in conversation with an King of Salem like personality, a cab driver from Ghana who left me with a single line: “See you in Africa Keith.”
At Home:  As I knew I would, I returned to the best of friends.  Friends who know me & love me more than to ask me to stay….
