I went skydiving in Cañon City with my cousin Daniel today. When our parents were our age they went skydiving together. Creating a tradition, they gave the two of us gift certificates to go together as well.
The experience was unbelievable. I’m not positive, but I believe we jumped around 8k ft above the ground. The flight up & float down afforded us views of Shelf Road, Royal Gorge, & the inspiring Rocky Mountains. Thrilling adventure!
Very cool! Much better with the audio. They didn’t have the video option back in the day when me and your mom jumped out of that coal powered biplane sporting nothing but two bed sheets and some clothes line cord. Plus we had to walk to the airport and back in the snow, up hill both ways.
