I’m sitting in what is as close to home as I get: A friends house in the woods of North Georgia a few yards away from the Bartram Trail. In the late 1700′s William Bartram set off to explore the southern colonies. He documented his travels & is known as one of the earliest naturalists [ READ MORE ]
Let me start by clarifying this: I love my family. My mother is my hero & my sister is my best friend. A new friend mentioned the idea of being able to choose your family… …I was struck by the comment. As I left Denver, my home for the past 5+ years, I realized that [ READ MORE ]

I will be looking for places to live, introducing myself to 1010 partners, & building out a budget for this next year’s adventure. I should return [ READ MORE ]
Fall of 2005 I was introduced to The 1010 Project. I was going to intern with them that year, but the Marine Corps sent me to Iraq instead. When I returned a year later I immediately got involved with their work. It was an interesting time for the organization. They were transitioning executive directors for [ READ MORE ]
The Project: Create a comprehensive list of all of the dirt cheap places to eat & drink in Denver. The Reason: Well, most nights I’m to lazy too cook. Cut me some slack, its hard to find the motivation to cook for 1. Further Justificaiton: I am trying to save as much money as possible [ READ MORE ]
